Book Arts
Artists' books allow for expansion of ideas beyond a single frame. They also encourage extended time for examination and processing. Often designed for viewing while held in one's hands, these objects are arguably the most intimate of art forms. A reader can page through at any speed, while exploring and contemplating content and form. Jumping ahead, going back to reread previous sections at will, sometimes even turning the whole thing inside out.
