My formative years were spent near the White Mountains of New Hampshire, and the mountain as symbol of refuge and discovery has become a recurrent theme in my art work. Just as the ancient Egyptians saw a need for pyramids on their flat land, I have made THE POCKET MOUNTAIN MEDITATOR to accompany me as I go about my life in the Midwest. And this is the reflective side. Because when I climb the mountain, I almost always end up reflecting on myself. c. 8" tall when opened.
